Thanks for fixing Sympycnodes rhaptodes. This one (Sympycnodes epicycla), however, is still uncategorised. And neither one appears in the CNM field guide. I have no idea how to fix these sort of things myself and I think it's better that you do it anyway because I'm likely to get something wrong.
I have reported to CNM that S. epicycla has been gone in to Úncategorised Species' instaed of Cossidae. I have been able to add S. rhaptodes to Cossidae and delete it from Óther Moths'by editing Sighting 4368702 but had to undo Glenn Cockings original correct ID suggestion in the process. That is, you can add a new temporary ''species'' to the taxonomy by first deleting the old incorrectly located species, then ID the sighting as the new temporary species then edit that temporary species to its new correct species name. See Sighting No. 4368702 which now needs confirmation by another moth moderator.
OK. Many thanks michaelb. That strategy worked! I was able to create a new temporary species in Cossidae (last letter missing in species name temporarily) and then suggest it as the new ID. This then allowed me to undo kassiaus" "incorrect" suggested ID which formerly was based on the Uncategorised Species name. Finally I restored the last letter of the temporary name in Cossidae by restoring the last correct letter. Now this suggested sighting ID just needs confirmation by another moth moderator.
