Yes it is regarded as a potentially high risk weed within the Canberra area

Aha; good to know. It grows so rapidly and one plant covers a big area. I guess it is recommended we remove it. I got the seedlings from plantings at ANU.

John Probably ok in your area -but keep an eye on its self seeding and whether it starts to spread
