While CNM still offers both names it is considered there is now no difference between S. alticola and S. australis with the later name being now considered the preferred species name. It is always fun to find a white one. This is a genus found outside of Australia and distributed around the world. On other continents white is the usual colour rather than the exception making our pink and white even more special I think.
