User's notes

This spider has been living in our window for a few months now. It usually sits well inside it's funnel like web. This was the first time that it felt up to come out of its web and pose for a photo. I think it is some sort of funnel web spider due to the shape of the web, but I may be completely wrong.

This is a House Spider - Badumna sp.
Their funnel shaped web sometimes throws people off. Mygalamorphs are ground dwelling spiders and live in burrows, as such they aren't good climbers and are rarely found up high.
