The AFD and the ALA prefer to call this Unplaced monophthalma (an Australian endemic) and a synomym of Tinea monophtalma. I think we have agrred to observe AFD and ALA practice.
OK I hear what you are both saying, Perahps try again tomorrow? I didn't try to approve Tinea monophthala because the agreed approach on CNM is that we use the AFD and ALA naming convention for this species which is currently Unplaced monophthala. I just added Unplaced monophthala to the taxonomy.
