Hi Paul I am having difficulty with this. The labellum is supposed to be long, sharply curved and sharply pointed, projecting just above the well beyond sinus when set, apex pointing almost vertically downwards. I am assuming the photos are of different flowers but neither demonstrate a typical labellum as described. These appear lighter than other photos I can find but colour is not always a good indicator. It is a species DLJ has not included a photo of. The labellum on the second photo appears set. The other issue is Feb is the wrong flowering time, April-July.
Hi Derek, same plant trying to get a non triggering image. I've had problems with this group for years, have had individual collections ID'd as longipetallum or reflexum from same area ie could be same population. Flowering times vary from late Jan thru to April for these.
Hi Paul, I am certain this is not D. longipetalum. Consider photos on Page 182 Southern Tablelands FG. The labellum would be a prominent feature and the lateral sepals I believe would also be much longer.
Hi Paul, my comment regarding lateral sepal length is the relative length to the flower. I have looked at my photos of D. reflexum from Mongarlowe and am now shore this is D. reflexum but you may have 2 species in this area no one.
