Very old snow gums growing near the boardwalk at Charlotte Pass, the interpretive sign gives them as subspecies niphophilia, stating that the minor veins on the leaves run almost parallel to the mid-vein.

Up around Mt Kosciusko Subsp, niphophilia would be the most common snow gum. Great photos of the leaves and fruits!!
