These are the first Christmas Beetles I have seen this season. I was starting to wonder if I would see any at all.
I counted 12 on a low branch of a broad leaved eucalypt. Hopefully there are more in this area, although I didn't find any more on gum trees throughout my walk in Kama Nature Reserve.
