Can you tell the difference between a Mordella sp. & Hoshihananomia sp. ?

@michaelb Hi Michael, The markings on the back are different. These photos aren't very clear but looking at the second photo I suspect this is Hoshihananomia leucosticta.

Thanks Alison & Michael, I think I meant to assign this to Mordellidae as I think it’s closest to Mordellidae (family) (Unidentified pintail or tumbling flower beetle) I did take another photo of one this morning but again the light shining off the top part of the beetle means it’s no clearer

Hi Alison, I'm pretty sure from the markings it is not Hoshihananomia leucosticta.
