It's possible the grove of Robinia is a remnant of plantings from the settlement days when the nearby Charnwood homestead was a thriving centre. There may be more information on the Charnwood property at the Hall Museum and the Museum's website. There used to be Olive trees near where the actual buildings were sited, part of the homestead's garden. Thank you for sharing your explorations!
