How do you distinguish the species from Goodenia pinnatifida? To me, ley person flowers and leaves look very similar.

Okay, Roger sent me a great photo of a lateral view of a Velleia paradoxa showing the spur (which can't be seen in a frontal dorsal view of the flower).
I think, there is no convincing evidence to id this particular specimen as Velleia paradoxa.
It would be the first record of the species in the Mts Ainslie / Majura reserves so it is super important to get the id right!
The people, I asked to have a look at this specimen, agreed that it looks more like Goodenia pinnatifida.
It is a hard one!
