Guessing ID from looking at other sightings on CNM that showed ants with similar above-ground tube structure, please note that third photo shows that some of the ants had wings.
Good ID and great photos Matthew, thanks! The winged ants are males leaving the nest to find mates. Female winged ants (usually a lot bigger) often seem to leave the nest a little later in the day than the males. Cheers, Jon
