I believe this is a beetle, not a mite. Mites have 4 pairs of legs, this has three pairs, and the body shape is that of a beetle.

@Proslyn Proslyn, I was referring to the number of small mites on the side of the face and body of this longicorn beetle, which was reported as a separate sighting. The mites have been confirmed by Michael. Regards Alison
