Image taken by Shaun McDonald of QPLC caterpillar had similar piece of leaf underneath and was able to turn around within the structure. Dragging itself across road into Bicentennial Park.

A number of Oecophoridae larvae live in and carry around a case made from two pieces of leaf, eg

Was it taken into protective custody? It would be good to rear it to adulthood to identify the species.
