Most plants have unfortunately a thick coat of an orange mite on them.

A Boom season for numerous plants due to soils being rehydrated. The Linum marginale in our yard are also very tall this spring. As you observed...a boom season for predatory species whose function may be to keep host species' numbers balanced...
