User's notes

Bright red slime mould, the large blob was about 30mm. Very soft and wet and began to liquefy at gentlest touch.

This is Tubifera ferruginosa, identified from p90 of Where the Slime Mould Creeps by Sarah Lloyd, and confirmed by Sarah herself via email. I noticed that there is a subspecies listed on Canberra Nature Map, but I don't anything about it, but maybe we need to add Tubifera ferruginosa.
