The plant was unusual as the 9 flowers were quite closely packed together.

As more Bunochilus like this are found in new areas that do not quite fit the type it is difficult to be sure of actual species. As noted this crowded, the labellum are not very hairy as is B. montanus. The Lateral sepals are not broad like B. umbrinus and the all sepal tips are darkish more like B. montanus and pinched in at the lateral sepal tips. If we need to select between the current ACT species it is more like B. montanus.
