Hi rawshorty, you might be right that this is P. nitidus and the photos are pretty good, but I can't be sure it is not the undescribed "hairy" species, which seems to more often have nests associated with rocks. This season we are trying to tidy up the data for these Papyrius sightings to be more certain about what actual species the sighting is so, for now at least, I think it probably needs to be recorded as Papyrius sp.
