I doubt that this is subspecies collina - see Pimelea linifolia (Slender Rice Flower) for other pictures from the same location. More likely to be subspecies linifolia which has wider leaves and bracts than collina. See descriptions at https://apps.lucidcentral.org/plants_se_nsw/text/entities/pimelea_linifolia.htm The definitive difference could be whether the flowers are silky or hairy - difficult to see in photos. The reddish bracts are often seen in subsp. linifolia according to the key at https://plantnet.rbgsyd.nsw.gov.au/cgi-bin/NSWfl.pl?page=nswfl&lvl=sp&name=Pimelea~linifolia

Sarah and Michael I think Barb is right. In doubt collect a sample of at least stem with some leaves and a flower head with bracts and ask Isobel for help with id (collina has intramarginal veins missing in the other subspecies of linifolia: I can't see intramarginal veins on the photographs). The Census of Vascular Plants of the ACT doesn't list subspecies collina. If it turns out to be collina it should go to the herbarium! Sorry, this is another of many records that landed in Downer, which means not on my Mt Majura moderator desk; otherwise, I would have commented earlier. I only became aware of this (4391269) sighting because I received a message from Barb reg another CNM Pimela record where Tapirlord mentioned the collina subspecies on Mt Majura...

Should it turn out to be collina, i would list it as significant because it would be the first record in ACT....
