User's notes

There no longer seem to be any living tree ferns at this site, 2 plants at this location and another couple of stumps further down the gulley appear to be all that is left. Is there any chance of recovery?? or is this population gone for good?

This big C. australis had been there for quite a while, but wasn’t there until the drainage from the Telstra tower started. It likely came from populations in the Blue Range and Brindabellas. There was also one in the quarry on Mt Ainslie. So the chances are new ones will occur.
