this is Egeria densa (Other Water Plant).
Species name has dropped off list and also off Species List although there appears to be one other record already for this species.
In this pond, about 1 m deep, it is forming extensive dense beds with patches of pondweed (Potamogeton sp) and ribbon weed (Vallisneria ): submerged leaves have epiphytic load. .
