User's notes

Unsure if this is a beetle larva so have placed it under 'Beetles' for now. A second one on the same bush is shown in previous sighting 4386013. There appears to be some destruction of the leaves where both insects have been.

Interesting larva. Could also be a moth larva. Do you know this species of host plant. Worth looking at in spring for adults.

@RogerF I checked the host this morning and found an identification sign in the ground close by but I'm not sure if this is the right information: B 9404792.3 Section 191t. Eucalyptus Stricta - Eucalyptus Burgessiana. Hope this helps. Tim
