About 15mm across, i assume its a native as we don't normally see snails.

Boro is between Bungendore and Braidwood and a bit North of both. Closest National park as far as I know is Budawang National Park a few 10s of kms to the east. Further to the south are Talaganda and Monga National park, and to the North is the towns of Tarago and Goulburn.

Actually I have looked Boro up and it is more likely to be Galadistes molong. Have found it at Mt Fairy limestone deposits and as it is on the western watershed of the Great Dividing Range (or close to it) it is more likely to be Galadistes.

Galadistes molong ranges between Bungendore and Gilgandra on the western side of the Great Dividing Range. It is (was) associated with White Box woodlands where it was the dominant camaenid species represented. Because the White Box woodlands on the western side of the Great Dividing Range have been so extensively cleared, its distribution has been severely fragmented. It now occurs in small fragmented populations.

Thanks for all that, while we have box woodland, its yellow box. The land was cleared in late1960's and has been regenerating since 1979.
