SimoneC, Here's another short earth centipede, seeming to have much less segments again than some.

Thanks for posting this. I think its a juvenile Cryptops sp. The head is the wrong shape for an earth centipede which are usually squarish, and the segments are not of uniform length. This (and your other shorty) are our first Cryptops
