The yellow spots on the 1st abdominal segment and the brownish tufts differ from other A. varia larvae I have seen. As we only have photos of the larvae of 22 Anthelidae species, out of the 74 named species, I am inclined to think it is one of the other 52, for which we have no larval photo.
