In flight, and with my aged eyes, this creature looks like a breath of air scouting the margins of the bark. Given the depth of field limitations of the macro lens I had great difficulty capturing an image. Note the very long narrow ovipositor/death stinger(?) which is off-white at the tip. The long legs dangle in flight and also appear to be off-white at the tips. The wings are a beautiful dreamy translucent blue-green.
