Judging by the ALA records this species looks to be quite variable. The text description there says the species ahs been recorded in the ACT.Bold 4's records include NSW but not the ACT. LBH records that the caterpillars have been recorded eating cork. Of course, there are some cork plantations in central Canberra!

There is a cork tree at my daughter's house in Melba about 500-600 meters away from my house.
