User's notes

In the small tree that the Knobbled Orbweaver's web was anchored to, I noticed two Long-jawed Spiders. They were staying at the edge of the orbweaver’s web but their own webs appeared to join the larger spider’s web.

Looks a lot like Tetaganatha demissa

Hi Michael, Many thanks for that. I had looked on Arachne.org.au when trying to identify this spider. I ended up more confused because the Tetragnatha demissa on there seemed to have thicker and shorter abdomens. So I wasn't sure if I had a bad angle of this one or if it was sick/lacking food. Sorry, I only got a photo of one of the spiders so I can't even look at a second photo as a comparison. I looked at Tetragnatha nitens but its abdomen looked longer than this spider and it had different colouration. I wish that I had more photos. All the best.
