No - spider taxonomists are obviously "special" people and the genus was named Backobourkia for its tendency to be found in the Australian outback. Whyte and Anderson p65. Not sure what is particularly heroic about this species but it is the largest of Backobourkia species. The species are a bit hard to tell apart and it may be Backabourkia brounii (but this seems less likely).
