Significant sighting

ibaird noted:

6 Sep 2023

These 4 Canberra-based sightings (2 at O'Connor) of this species are unusual because Imma acosma (Immidae family) is regarded as a coastal species. However the sighting of a caterpillar locally at Goorooyarro NR suggests there is a local population.

User's notes

Attracted to UV light at night (50w Gecko).

This is an unusual sighting, previous records being along the coast and nearby mountains south to Mt Dromedary, with none as far inland as the ACT

Nearest sighting on IiNat (D. Hobern) is at the same latitude as Canberra, but on the coast at Dolphin Point.
