This mating pair was first seen at around 11.45 am. They were still at it when the fourth image was taken at 2.45 pm. The 'love dart' shown in the final image was found just after 6 pm when I moved the now-separated snails off the drive. It was under one of the snails and had obviously missed its target. It was 1 cm long.
