While I am reasonably sure that this is a male of one of the small Lasioglossum (Chilalictus) species, it may be from a different subgenus or even a different genus.
Yes. Clear pictures of the wing veins and/or the face would help. If you cool one in the fridge for 10 minutes you might even be able to photograph the under side of the abdomen which is sometimes fairly distinctive.
Ok thanks for the tips! The cool mornings might be enough for me to get those... I will attempt to get some good photos and post when I have something I think worthy.
