User's notes

I apologise for the quality of this photo, and fully understand if this is unidentifiable. However, I was unsure if this was a bee or wasp (I think wasp - it was large and mad waspy noises when flying). The animal had yellow face, legs, and the body was striped blue and white. I'm just so annoyed I couldn't photograph it better.
