It is virtually identical to moth 24-2-4 in the Gippsland Lakes Lepidoptera booklet and it is identified as
Heliocausta oecophorella. Hmm...

Yes, I concur. But my moth moderator colleagues did not agree. See my own similarly similar posting among the Heliocausta sp. (genus) on CNM see Sighting No. 4359561 and the discussion there.
