Thanks, Bron If I get time I will take a dip net up to the puddle and see what else is available for imaging and uploading to CNM. As far as I know this, and an earlier record of a different species, are the first aquatic macroinvertebrate records for CNM. The puddle has lured an Eastern Grey Kangaroo, several species of birds, a dragonfly, several species of true flies, and several species of wasp so it is wonderful little biodiversity oasis.
That sounds great Con. I'm newly interested in pond life too and am keeping an eye on the Melba Wetlands. I have shots of some things from there, so maybe we can stir up more interest in these environments :)
