I'm leaning towards Hemicordulia australiae due to the shape of the yellow markings on what can be seen of the final abdominal segments. @HarveyPerkins, does that look right?

Yes - Australian Emerald, Apart from the lateral abdominal markings, the real diagnostic here is the dark metallic frons between and in front of the eyes in the second photo.
