User's notes

I saw it for three days in succession on two different Blue Devil flowers. I can't match the small brown "shoulder" spots with images of any other crab spider on the net. When sighted again a week later, the markings are significantly different, but otherwise it appears to be the same spider on the same plant.

Of the crab spiders I'm familiar with, I would suggest that this is a female Zygometis xanthogaster (one of its common names being Milky Flower Spider) which is a species that is noted to be quite variable in appearance.
