Looks like Geranium solanderi var. Solanderi to me . Never seen G.potentilloides in this neck of the woods.

Still looks like G. solanderi to me. It is very hard to identify plants from a lot of the photos. I have no record on my plant list of G.retrorsum on Farrer Ridge

I did consider G.solanderi but ruled it out based on the stem hairs as they are not nearly as coarse or dense as that species. I have seen G.retrorsum on Farrer Ridge where I walk regularly.

True G.retrorsum. It isn't solanderi as it lacks the spreading hairs that come out at 90 degree angles to the stem. Stems also aren't villous.
