This appears to be a very dark, plum-colouredlocal form of E, asworthana. The ALA shows similar, but lighter coloured specimens recorded at Aranda by D. Hobern. The white head is a good guide to the species. https://www.flickr.com/photos/dhobern/5131130706/ (Epiphyas ashworthana)
