I think this is D. pardina which is typically darker than D. nigromontana. D. nigromontana only occurs on Black Mountain and in bush adjacent to it.

Thanks MattM. I agree it is quite distinct to the BM donkey orchids which I have been reviewing (I work at CSIRO on BM). The colouring of the labellum and sepals is much darker in the four discretely-located specimens I observed. Would it be possible to talk with you directly? I have seen some aberrant forms of the different groundies and would like to confirm with someone without going through the CNM. I am particularly struggling with C. carnea and all the various forms from white (alba?) through to dark pinks.
