A topical subject at the moment. The fly was found on a deck, having succumbed to Puppeteer fungus. The main images are taken at 3X and 5X magnification to provide some detail of the fungal attack. The final image shows how the fungus spores have sprayed out from the fly's body onto the underside of the wings.
