It appears not to be Antechinus or Sminthopsis, so in that location could be House Mouse (Mus domesticus), Bush Rat (Rattus fuscipes), Black Rat (Rattus rattus), Broad-toothed Mastacomys (Mastacomys fuscus), or Rakali (Hydromys chrysogaster).

Sorry, it was about 50 mm long so much bigger than a mouse. I should have done better but surely we can not collect from the National Park can we?
