User's notes

My best guess for what ate some of this fungi is Swamp Wallaby. There was no fungus detritus on the ground. The host tree is probably E rossii.

The upper surface shows obvious bite marks (perhaps from a swamp wallaby) and the underside shows evidence of grub-shewing. It is uncommon to find a specimen of this that does NOT have invertebrate chew holes.
