User's notes

Found with 2 Rainbowia - could it be an earlier instar or is it a completely different mite?

Or perhaps a spider? It looks a bit like Euryopis.

Are Euryopis called Tick Spider because they look like a tick or eat ticks?

Thanks Cath and John! My understanding is that the nickname 'Tick Spider' results from its similar appearance to ticks while they primarily prey on ants. Whyte & Anderson has photos on p.16, 331 & 333-335; the photo on p.16 appears to have the most resemblance to your specific individual.
