User's notes
I found this sun orchid flowering in the same place for several years at Umbagong District Park, Latham. From memory I spotted about 2 plants in this location (only approximated on the map). However this particular site has since been destroyed by recreational users of the park. Other sun orchids remain in a different patch nearby (the species of sun orchid in the second patch yet to be identified). This specimen tentatively identified by Derek Corrigan (Conservation Officer of the Orchid Society of Canberra) as Thelymitra pauciflora (TBC).
There seems to be a camera time issue as I'm almost certain I had to plan ahead to take this photo at midday, not 4am!
