User's notes
The caterpillar was suspended from a filament at about chest height (perfect for photographing). The filament was suspended from a branch about three metres high. The caterpillar was rolling the filament up into a ball onto its "chest". As it ascended the white coloured ball grew bigger. I estimated that it was climbing at about 50mm per minute
