These were planted as part of restoration research by David Johnston his thesis was with ANU Fenner school. We have been applying some of the lessons he learnt

These plant are actually within one of our restoration sites where we applied David Johnson's research and lessons learnt. At this site we slashed and raked up all the thatch before direct seeding a high diversity of native forbs, including L. albicans.

There's heaps of the Leucochrysum flowering on the plots where the surface soil was scraped off plus lots of juveniles coming up.

That top two big scrapes seem to be doing very well. Not sure if you noticed but there is a bit of Rutidosis coming up in the top largest one. We recently re-seeded the lower smaller scrapes so hopefully they are starting to do a bit better.

There was a bit of Rutidosis in flower on the unfenced scrape on the west side of the road; the Xerochrysum there was also in flower as were a few Linum plants.
