It's a bit early to be sure about this ID, especially as Cheilanthes species have blurred boundaries. Seems likely to be C. austrotenuifolia

The pinnae will either remain short or they'll spread out more. C. sieberi in the first case, C. austrotenuifolia in the latter. C. austro. is a bit stunted in open areas, making it hard to be sure.

Re-identified as C. austrotenuifolia after checking on the plant in subsequent visits.
