The leafhopper was Identified by Dr Murray Fletcher, who is an Australian expert on leafhoppers and related bugs and author of "Identification keys and checklists for the leafhoppers, planthoppers and their relatives occurring in Australia and neighbouring areas (Hemiptera: Auchenorrhyncha)" www1.dpi.nsw.gov.au/keys/auch/index.html.
