Forty removed by hand but there are over 100. Big roots need to be removed.

Got stuck in with a mattock and removed hundreds of plants. It was too rocky to remove all roots so I will do a followup next year. Plenty of seed pods but none had released seeds. The patch is smaller than it used to be so repeated efforts are working.
